With technological advancement happening everyday, football has entered into new territory – that of artificial intelligence: the creation of palm-sized GGO robots complete with embedded microchip! These robots have captivated football fans around the world, and everywhere teams are forming and more and more people are trying their hand at being leaders in the game.

Gao Xun, the 13 year-old main character of the series and son of one of the GGO creators, finds quite by accident a unique 7th generation GGO robot called Santos. Along with his classmates, he forms a GGO team called “Barefoot Team” and takes part in the World GGO Series, competing against distinguished teams from all over the world. At the same time, he is also secretly carrying out his father’s wishes – that Santos should reach the finals of the World Champion and uncover a huge conspiracy…
